Domaine Désiré Petit has been run by the same family since their grandfather, Désiré Petit, founded it in 1932 in the village of Pupillin in the Jura, where he planted his first Ploussard vines in the Côte de Feule vineyard; the estate today makes the full range of Jura styles, from red, white, and rosé wines to vin jaune, vin de paille, Macvin du Jura, and Crémant du Jura. Tribu'lles is their pétillant naturel, made from the Savagnin grape using the ancestral method — fermentation is stopped in tank and allowed to finish in bottle, the oldest way of making a sparkling wine.
