Profile & Story

Ca'Liptra was founded in 2012 by four partners who met at enology school and while working at leading Le Marche wineries. The estate farms eight hectares in Cupramontana, in the Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio zone. Their 'Arancio' orange wine comes from vines over forty years old historically interplanted with secondary local varieties, macerated on the skins for roughly six months and aged on fine lees.

Tasting Notes

Skin-contact orange wines from Marche's old-vine white blends typically show a deep amber-orange hue, with aromas of dried orange peel, chamomile and bruised apple; the palate is dry, textured and savory, with grippy tannins and a long finish.
