Profile & Story

Fattoria Le Masse is a small, family-run, biodynamically farmed estate in Barberino Val d'Elsa, in the Chianti Classico area of Toscana. 'Santa Goccia' blends 70% Sangiovese, 20% Canaiolo and 10% Trebbiano from vineyards planted in 1974 and 1986 on clay and sandy soils.

Tasting Notes

Hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented in steel vats without temperature control, using twenty percent whole bunches with manual punch-downs over ten days of skin maceration, Santa Goccia shows the fresh red-fruit character typical of a Sangiovese-led Tuscan blend.
