Profile & Story

Giordano Lombardo is a biodynamic estate near the medieval town of Gavi, on the Piemonte-Liguria border, with a winemaking history dating to 1724 when Gio Batta Lombardo first cultivated Gavi in the 'San Martino' area. The estate farms twenty hectares biodynamically. This Gavi DOCG is made from the native Cortese grape.

Tasting Notes

Gavi DOCG made from Cortese is typically pale straw yellow with green highlights, showing aromas of citrus, green apple and white flowers with a characteristic almond note; the palate is dry, crisp and mineral, with brisk acidity.
