Profile & Story

Montevetrano is a celebrated estate in the Monti Picentini Regional Park of Campania, farming vineyards in San Cipriano Picentino on a former Bourbon estate. 'Core' ('heart' in Neapolitan dialect) was released for Montevetrano's twentieth anniversary in 2011; Core Bianco is an equal blend of Fiano and Greco sourced from Sannio, in the province of Benevento.

Tasting Notes

After cryomaceration and separate fermentation of each variety, the wines are blended and aged on fine lees for seven to eight months with weekly bâtonnage, giving floral and youthful aromas with notes of small red fruit and delicate citrus.
