Cantina Roccafiore farms fifteen hectares of organically-managed hillside vineyards near Todi, Umbria; the Baccarelli family bought the property in 1999, planting Grechetto and Sangiovese along with small parcels of Moscato Giallo, Sagrantino and Montepulciano, with their first vintage in 2005. 'Melograno' blends Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Merlot into an everyday, versatile red.

In this blend, Sangiovese's structure is balanced by the freshness and fruitiness of Montepulciano and Merlot, giving a direct, pleasant red rich in personality — an easy-drinking style well suited to being served lightly chilled.
