This bottling is Achaval Ferrer's expression of Malbec grown in Mendoza at 1,100 meters elevation, hand-harvested. 100% Malbec, made with minimal intervention — no filtration, cold maceration, acid correction or enzyme additions — aged 9 months in second- and third-use French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Bright violet in color, fresh and floral with blackberry, plum and violet notes carrying from nose to palate. Soft and round with notable minerality, silky tannins on a long finish.
