Profile & Story
Sequoia Grove is a Rutherford estate winery in Napa Valley. This bottling draws on a Rutherford-dominated blend of Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the Sequoia Grove Estate and Tonella Estate vineyards plus select grower parcels (Morisoli and Beckstoffer in Rutherford, Stagecoach in Atlas Peak, Lamoreaux in Oak Knoll, Healy in St. Helena). Cold soak, French-yeast inoculation, fermentation with daily pump-overs, malolactic in French oak, then 18 months oak aging.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of cherries, pomegranate, pluots and bramble. Smooth, lush entry to a rich palate of dry herbs and juicy black raspberries, finishing elegant with blackberry jam, black pepper, tobacco and refined cocoa-powder tannins.

Pairs with red meat off the grill, pork tenderloin, heavy cheeses and grilled vegetables.
