Profile & Story

Vietti's Moscato d'Asti D.O.C.G. is produced entirely from Moscato grapes grown in small vineyards in Castiglione Tinella, limestone/clay soil, Guyot-trained vines averaging 40 years old, 4,500 plants/ha. Delicate pressing, natural cold decanting, stainless-steel tanks at low temperature before partial autoclave fermentation at 12–14°C, halted by rapid cooling around 5.5% ABV. No malolactic; bottled promptly.

Tasting Notes

Bright straw-yellow with shimmering gold hints. Intense aromas of ripe yellow fruit (peach, apricot), floral rose petal notes, hints of ginger. Sweet, delicate, slightly sparkling palate with modest acidity and good balance.
