Graham's Vintage Port, produced only in exceptional years, drawn from the finest parcels across the estate's four quintas. The 2000 vintage — the first of the 21st century — is remembered for the immense concentration of its wines and small quantities produced, following a dry winter, wet spring that delayed flowering, and an ideal near-trouble-free harvest. 20% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Typical Graham aromas of ripe plum and 'esteva' (gum cistus), pleasantly smooth despite its youth. Full and rich palate with fresh blackberry and red plum notes; despite the hallmark Graham sweetness, the finish is long and clean.
Pairing Recommendation
A fabulous way to end a lunch or dinner, pairing wonderfully with chocolate desserts such as chocolate mousse; also suggested with blue cheeses or hazelnut mille-feuille.
