Profile & Story
Maison Saint AIX is a Provençal wine estate in the hills north of Aix-en-Provence, within the AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence. AIX Rosé is crafted exclusively from grapes grown on the estate's own domain, using delicate pressing and low-temperature fermentation to preserve freshness, then aged in stainless steel tanks to maintain purity. The blend is organically farmed under sustainable practices, producing what the house describes as the pure and authentic essence of Provence.
Tasting Notes
A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, each contributing its own signature: Grenache brings structure and ripe red-berry notes, Syrah adds depth and a touch of spice, and Cinsault lends finesse, freshness and delicate floral aromas. Bright pale pink in color, with aromas of fresh red berries, melon and grapefruit; the palate is balanced, full-bodied and elegant, with a long, refreshing finish.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs beautifully with oysters, lobster and salmon, composed salads, grilled fish and white meats, spicy Asian dishes, and fresh goat cheese; also complements red-fruit tarts or lemon sorbet, or simply serve as an aperitif.
