About the Wine

Feudo Maccari Saia 2021 is a 100% Nero d’Avola wine from the Noto area in southeastern Sicily, produced by Feudo Maccari, part of the Tenuta Sette Ponti family. The grapes are sourced from 20–30-year-old bush-trained vines planted on south-facing volcanic soils enriched with white sand and chalk at approximately 80 meters above sea level. The wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging for 12 to 14 months in French oak barriques, and an additional 6 months of bottle aging. It is certified organic and has an alcohol content of 14%.

On the palate, it is deep and well-structured, featuring lush, concentrated fruit flavors balanced by fine acidity and ripe, sweet tannins, culminating in a long, persistent finish.
