Barnstormer Winery is a boutique Finger Lakes producer established in 2013 by proprietor Scott Bronstein on the southwestern shore of Seneca Lake, housed in a renovated pre-Civil War barn. The winery produces about 4,000 cases annually, sourced mainly from eight partner vineyards along Seneca Lake plus a three-acre 'Home Farm Vineyard' on the estate itself. Named for the tail number of a vintage biplane (the winery's aviation branding), N6679P is Barnstormer's limited-production, single-vineyard Riesling from the estate's own Home Farm fruit, reflecting the moderating influence of Seneca Lake's deep glacial waters on this cool-climate site.
