Charlotte Dalton Wines is the label of winemaker Charlotte Hardy, launched from the 2015 vintage in the Adelaide Hills (now based on the Fleurieu Peninsula). 'Love Me Love You' Shiraz is named after a phrase Hardy's mother used when settling her children for sleep - its sibling white, a Semillon, is called 'Love You Love Me.' The 2022 (referred to as '2023' vintage-labeled at some retailers, but sourced here per the official page's harvest description) comes from the Deanery vineyard in Balhannah, Adelaide Hills, with 30% whole-bunch inclusion in the ferment; the wine is pressed to oak once fermentation completes, with 30% new French hogsheads used, and given extended oak time to fully integrate.
