Weingut Robert Weil, founded in 1875 and based in Kiedrich, is today run by Wilhelm Weil, the fourth generation of the family, and is regarded as a global flagship of German Riesling with a 'chateau character.' The estate's 90 hectares are planted 100% to Riesling and farmed certified organic and sustainable; since 1989 every predicate level, from estate Gutswein to the Grosses Gewachs Grafenberg to Trockenbeerenauslese, has been produced in an unbroken, globally unique series of vintages. This estate-level Kabinett is sourced from vineyards neighboring the classified Kiedricher Berg hillside sites, supplemented with pre-selected fruit from the top crus for extra fruit and mineral intensity, aged in stainless steel tank; it is designed to showcase the traditional, lighter Kabinett style at the heart of the Weil portfolio. 8.5% ABV, RS 39 g/l, TA 8.8 g/l.
