Created in 1997 by Rita and Andre Jammet, longtime owners of the celebrated New York French restaurant La Caravelle, this Champagne carries on their name after the restaurant's 2004 closing. The wines are vinified by De Castellane in Epernay. Cuvee Nina, the brand's signature Brut, is named for one of the caravel ships used to explore the New World and is blended from roughly 44% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir and 18% Pinot Meunier, aged three years on the lees.
