Profile & Story

Vignobles Barreau is a family estate in Bordeaux's Entre-Deux-Mers dating back to 1782, farming two chateaux (Haut-Garriga and Coutreau) on limestone soils about 10km from Saint-Emilion. OG Orange is made from 100% Semillon sourced from 80-year-old vines, fermented with wild yeasts and given roughly 40 days of skin-contact maceration, then bottled unfiltered.

Tasting Notes

Orange citrus, apple and peach notes, with good weight and texture from the extended skin contact.
