Founded in 1987 and owned since 2004 by Emmanuel Rybinski, Clos Troteligotte is a 16-hectare estate nestled within a 35-hectare woodland enclosure between the Lot Valley and the Causses of Quercy Blanc, in Villesèque (46090). Certified Organic since 2014 and Biodynamic since 2017; the estate vinifies naturally without added sulfites. Red grapes grow on Kimmeridgian and Siderolithic clay-limestone soils rich in iron on the Cahors plateau; whites on Stampien clay-limestone of Quercy Blanc. The estate actively promotes biodiversity through beekeeping, agroforestry, eco-grazing, and the maintenance of surrounding woods and meadows. Tasting Notes
Malbec-Merlot blend (50/50) from 30-year-old vines on clay-limestone soils of the Causse de Quercy plateau. Beautiful complexity with aromas of strawberry jam, blackberry and dried thyme. A red in harmony — pretty vivacity meeting an enveloping texture; fine, delicate tannins. Awarded Gold Medal at the Anivin de France Best Value Competition (91/100).
