Profile & Story
Paradosso is a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC selected and exported by Gruppo iVinai, a group of Italian wine producers. Grapes are manually selected between October 10-20 from a 30-year-old vineyard in Controguerra, farmed with organic techniques and benefiting from the site's wide thermal swings. The wine is vinified exclusively in stainless steel tanks under thermo-conditioning; after malolactic fermentation it ages in bottle for at least 6 months. ABV 13%.
Tasting Notes
Intense red color with a nose of soft fruits, flowers, and spices; the palate is fresh, mineral, and astringent, with persistence and full body.
Pairing Recommendation
Rich grilled meat courses, cured meats, seasoned cheeses, legume soups, and lasagna.
