Authentic Wines is a natural-wine project from Lisboa, Portugal, founded by winemakers Rodrigo Martins and Pedro Cabanita, bottling under the ‘Favonius’ label — named for the mild westerly wind off the Atlantic. This skin-contact ‘Curtimenta’ is made from 90% Fernão Pires and 10% Arinto, biodynamically farmed on clay/sandy soils near Lisboa, hand-harvested and macerated on skins for two weeks before pressing.
