Cesani is a family estate on a hillside in upper Pancole, overlooking San Gimignano, founded by Vincenzo Cesani. Their ‘Clamys’ vineyard in San Paolo — over 40 years old, on clay soil of marine origin rich in Pliocene-era fossils — is dedicated exclusively to Vernaccia di San Gimignano and has been bottled as a single-vineyard wine since 2015; this is the cuvée poured as The Clam's house white.
