Michelini i Mufatto relocated from Argentina to Spain's Bierzo region in 2015 to work alongside local winemaker Javier González. ‘En El Camino’ blends roughly 90% Mencía with a small portion of Palomino, Doña Blanca and Alicante Bouschet, sourced from estates on clay-and-quartz soils between 200-500m elevation, fermented with 30% whole clusters and native yeasts, and matured in a 50/50 mix of oak casks and stainless steel.
