Brooks Wine was founded by winemaker Jimi Brooks in the Willamette Valley; after his untimely death, his sister Janie Brooks Heuck took over the winery to preserve it for his young son, and the family (Janie, her husband David, and son Pascal) has run it since. The 2023 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir draws on fruit from eleven vineyards -- including Muska-Bement, Crannell, Yamhill, York Hill, Eola Springs, Sunset Ridge, Hyland and Temperance Hill -- from a growing season with a late budbreak, a warm dry summer, and harvest that ran into September rains.
