Cincuenta is an "author" wine from Bodegas Eguren Ugarte, a family-owned winery in the Rioja Alavesa village of Laguardia founded in 1870 by Anastasio Eguren. The cuvee is made from Tempranillo grown on vineyards over 50 years old, farmed and harvested by the Eguren family, and was created to honor 50 years of family leadership at the estate.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red with a bright purple edge. Aromas of fruit compote mingle with toasted oak; the palate is round and structured, with soft, silky tannins, bright acidity and a long, persistent finish.

Pairs well with legumes, roasted meats, mushrooms and aged cheeses.
