Schloss Gobelsburg is the oldest winery in the Danube region, with winemaking on the estate dating to 1171, located in the Kamptal wine region of Lower Austria. The Cistercien Rose is predominantly Zweigelt with smaller portions of St. Laurent and Pinot Noir (exact percentages not disclosed), vinified more like a white wine - light pressing, no skin contact - and fermented/aged in stainless steel for a fresh, elegant style.
