Profile & Story
Terra de Asorei is a family-run winery in Cambados, in the Val do Salnes zone of Rias Baixas, Galicia. Pazo Torrado is made from 100% Albarino grown and vinified according to traditional Val do Salnes methods; the name honours the Pazo de Torrado, a historic manor house built in the second half of the 17th century that now houses the Rias Baixas regulatory council, in Cambados, home of the annual Fiesta del Albarino since 1953. Awarded 89 points, Guia Penin 2022; Gold Medal, Guia de Vinos de Galicia 2020-2022 (Luis Paadin); Wine Merchant Top 100 (UK) 2019 winner.
Tasting Notes
Pale straw-yellow with greenish glints, clean and bright. Aromatic, dominated by green apple, citrus and floral notes at medium-high intensity — fresh, lively and fragrant on the nose. On the palate it is fresh with a touch of richness, repeating the citrus and stone-fruit character.
