Speri Viticoltori farms family-owned vineyards in the Valpolicella Classica zone (San Pietro in Cariano, Fumane and Negrar, 120-350m elevation). Their Valpolicella Classico blends Corvina Veronese (60%), Rondinella (30%) and Molinara (10%), hand-picked and destemmed, fermented with 8 days' skin maceration in temperature-controlled steel, then matured 4 months in steel and glass-lined cement.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red with purplish highlights and an intense, vinous bouquet of violets and cherries; medium-bodied and fruity, meant to be enjoyed young.
