Kobal Wine Estate farms in the Haloze hills of Stajerska, in Slovenia's Podravje region, where a continental climate of hot, dry summers and steep, wind-swept slopes shapes the site's wines. The estate is a noted advocate for skin-contact white winemaking, the signature style of the region. This bottling of Sipon -- the local Slovenian name for the Furmint grape -- is made in a dry style from fruit grown in the estate's Haloze vineyards.
