Profile & Story
Chateau Revelette is an organic estate (Ecocert certified, F-BIO-01) in Jouques, in the northern reaches of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation. This rosé blends 65% Grenache, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cinsault, and 8% Carignan. Grapes are hand-harvested and vinified separately, made by the saignée method after ten hours of maceration, with cold settling and partial malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes
A dry, pale Provençal rosé blending Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Carignan, typically showing red-berry fruit and fresh, mineral-tinged acidity characteristic of Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence rosés.
Pairing Recommendation
Suggested with a summer vegetable risotto in ratatouille style, and with prawns sautéed in pesto.
