Beaumont Family Wines farms in Bot River, in South Africa's Walker Bay region, on a property with over 48 years of viticultural history; winemaker Sebastian Beaumont works from the philosophy that 'wine is made in the vineyards and minimal intervention is needed,' tending ancient, low-yielding Chenin Blanc and Pinotage vines with natural yeasts and open concrete fermenters. Jackal's River Pinotage is fruit-driven and built for immediate drinking pleasure.
