Grape Abduction Company is a playful, story-driven label sourcing fruit from Štajerska, Slovenia, where cool nights and varied soils give the wines energy and clarity; the project is built on the idea that some of the best wines come from unexpected places, and it leaves room for experimentation in blend and style. This orange wine is a blend of Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Riesling, aged five months in stainless steel on the skins.
Tasting Notes
The wine shows a light amber color, with aromas of ripe golden apple, quince, sweet brown spice, and honey. The palate is round, with good minerality and a smooth finish that carries the brown-spice character through.
