Quinta da Lixa is a Vinho Verde producer founded in 1986 by the Meireles family, who have spent over 35 years dedicated to the region and won more than 500 national and international awards; their best-known wine, 'O tal da Lixa,' takes its name from customers in taverns who would ask for 'that wine... the one from Lixa!' Aromas das Castas Grande Escolha is a blend of Alvarinho and Loureiro, with the Loureiro providing the aromatic backbone against the Alvarinho.
Tasting Notes
The wine is crisp and dry, with fine acidity, sliced-apple flavors, and a refreshing, tangy texture; aromas of peach and orange blossom lend elegance and complexity, finishing with a touch of natural spritz.
