Profile & Story

The Poli family has distilled in Schiavon, near Bassano del Grappa in the Veneto, since 1898. Gran Bassano revives a great-grandfather's recipe, infusing more than thirty botanicals into a Merlot base to create a vermouth rooted in the family's home territory.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in color, with red fruit, sun-dried tomato, and dried oregano on the nose; dried cherry, raspberry, and orange peel on the palate, finishing dry and savory.
