Domaine Vocoret & Fils has farmed the terroirs of Chablis since 1870, with the family now in its fifth generation, controlling the entire production cycle from vineyard to bottling across thirty-three hectares planted exclusively in Chablis. This village-level Chablis is a textbook expression of the appellation's Kimmeridgian limestone soils, embedded with 180-million-year-old fossilized oyster shells.
Tasting Notes
A generous style with ripe pear notes, bright citrus acidity and a dash of green apple skin, backed by the appellation's signature flinty minerality and a slatey, stony aftertaste.
