Profile & Story
Krug was founded in Reims in 1843 and remains one of Champagne's most exacting houses. Grande Cuvée is Krug's flagship, non-vintage cuvée, blended from up to a dozen or more different vintage years to build layered complexity; the 170ème Édition is composed around the 2014 harvest, blending 195 individual wines from twelve vintages spanning 1998 to 2014, roughly 51% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay and 11% Meunier.

A richly layered Champagne built for complexity, showing the depth and toasted, brioche-laced character that comes from blending across more than a decade of vintages, with fine, persistent effervescence.
