Weingut Rings is a rising estate in Freinsheim in Germany's Pfalz region, run by brothers Steffen and Andreas Rings, who farm their Kallstadt and Freinsheim vineyards themselves from pruning through harvest. Alongside mineral, dry Rieslings, the estate has earned acclaim for its Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir), made as a bone-dry, elegant red that reflects its Palatinate origins.
Tasting Notes
An elegant, dry-styled Spätburgunder with expressive raspberry and wild-berry fruit, subtle notes of forest undergrowth and herbs, and a refined, silky texture with well-judged length.
