Veuve Clicquot was founded in 1772 and built into one of Champagne's great houses under Madame Clicquot, the original "Veuve" (widow) who ran the maison in the early 19th century. Yellow Label Brut is the house's signature, non-vintage cuvée, blended each year from a large reserve-wine library to maintain a consistent style across vintages.
Tasting Notes
Dominated by Pinot Noir for structure, with Chardonnay lending elegance and finesse and a touch of Meunier rounding out the blend; aromas of white and yellow fruit — pear, apple, peach — mingle with citrus and brioche, balancing freshness with strength and a fine, persistent effervescence.
