Les Vins Pirouettes is a collective initiated by Christian Binner, one of the leading figures of the Alsace natural wine movement, which bottles wines made by individual growers farming organically and biodynamically, each cuvee named for its maker. The 2023 Rouge Cubique de Pierre is Pinot Noir grown and vinified by Pierre Bannwarth, who works alongside his father Stephane at the family estate Domaine Laurent Bannwarth in Obermorschwihr and joined the Pirouettes collective in 2022. The Pirouettes vineyards sit on granite, sandstone and limestone; grapes are hand-harvested and sorted in the vineyard, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and the wines are bottled with no added sulfites, unfined and unfiltered. 12.5% ABV.
