Profile & Story
Dibon is a Cava label produced by Bodegas Pinord, a family winery founded in 1942 in Vilafranca del Penedes, Catalonia. The name honors Masia Dibon, the family's historic country house, whose surrounding vineyards supply some of the fruit for the label. This Reserva blends Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Parellada, the three traditional Cava varieties, vinified separately before assemblage. Aged sur lie for at least 15 months under the traditional method (second fermentation in bottle), it reaches about 11.5% ABV.
Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose offers baked apple, pear and toasted brioche with a light floral lift; the palate is crisp and light-bodied, balancing ripe orchard fruit with a chalky, mineral streak through a clean, dry finish.
