Profile & Story

Primitivo Quiles is a historic family winery in Monovar, Alicante, dating to the 1780s. Its red vermouth is made from organic Monastrell wine macerated with fennel, sage, clove and other botanicals in 80-year-old American-oak conofores, with alcohol and caramel added for color and strength.

Tasting Notes

Notes of ripe Valencia orange, cola, ginger and clove glide over waves of bittersweet citrus -- a rich, herbal red vermouth with real depth.
