Palo Cortado 'Viejo Calle Ponce' takes its name from the street where Valdespino's old bodega once stood. It begins life from a blend of Inocente Fino and Tio Diego Amontillado barrels that develop the rarer Palo Cortado character -- combining an Amontillado's nose with an Oloroso's body and depth.
Tasting Notes
Mahogany in color, with aromas of white Turkish fig and warm hazelnut leading to a dry, rounded palate of dried fig, savory spice and dark vanilla bean -- a rare, complex sherry style.
