C.N. Kopke, founded in 1638, is the oldest Port wine house, known for blending wines of different harvests so that the age on the label reflects the average age of the blend. This 20 Years Old Tawny Port is made from hand-picked, destemmed and crushed grapes carefully macerated before fortification with grape brandy, then aged in oak casks.

Tasting Notes

A delicate orange-green color, with a complex nose of dried fruit, spice and fine wood notes. The palate is rich and concentrated, with a long, velvety finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Irresistible with a starter of foie gras with aubergine and walnuts; also pairs with toffee brownies, chocolate pavé, or walnut crostini with chèvre. Serve between 12-14°C.
