La Guardiense is a cooperative winery founded in 1960 in Guardia Sanframondi, in the Sannio hills of Campania, by 33 grower-partners who set out to elevate winegrowing in the area; it later became recognized as the first sustainable winery in Campania. The Janare line was created to showcase native varieties of the Sannio, with Falanghina as its signature white. This Falanghina is a fresh, everyday expression of the grape from vineyards around Guardia Sanframondi.
