Profile & Story
Cantina Menegotti farms in Villafranca di Verona, in the Custoza zone near Lake Garda in the Veneto. The Elianto is their Custoza Superiore, blended from Bianca Fernanda (a local clone of Cortese), Garganega and Trebbiano. The wine undergoes a cold maceration of about 48 hours, fermentation at controlled temperature, two months of aging in steel on fine lees, and a further six months resting in bottle before release.
Tasting Notes
Limpid straw yellow with golden tinges. The nose shows white flower blossom and citrus fruit blending with almonds, dried nuts, honey and balsamic notes. The palate is well balanced, full-bodied, with distinctive freshness and a tangy edge.
