Podere Castorani farms in Alanno, in the Pescara province of Abruzzo, using the traditional overhead pergola trellis system typical of the region. This Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, made from Montepulciano, is produced with cold skin maceration and wild-yeast fermentation at low temperature, followed by three months resting sur lie in concrete tanks.
Tasting Notes
Light cherry pink in color, with orange tones. The nose shows wild marasca cherry and mature pomegranate, and the palate is rich-bodied, silky and persistent.
