Profile & Story
Rocche Costamagna is based in La Morra, in the heart of the Langhe in Piedmont. This Langhe Arneis is made from 100% Arneis, an important native Piedmontese variety, using soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled 16°C for about three weeks, then resting on fine lees in stainless steel for at least three months before further bottle aging.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow in color with green reflections. The nose is fresh and fruity, with notes of white flowers and green apple, while the palate shows a pleasant mineral frame balanced by lively freshness.
Pairing Recommendation
An excellent aperitif; also matches well with starters, raw and cooked fish, white meat and fresh cheese.
