Frantz Saumon is a natural grower in Montlouis-sur-Loire, making low-intervention Chenin Blanc from clay, silex and limestone soils. 'Minéral+' blends fruit from all his Montlouis plots — old and young vines — in an off-dry ('sec tendre') style.
Tasting Notes
Pale gold; a mineral, chalk-driven Loire Chenin with orchard fruit and citrus, a fine texture and a long, saline finish, with the barest touch of sweetness.
