Roagna is a traditional family estate in Barbaresco and Barolo, Piedmont, farming old vines and historic vineyards with long macerations and extended ageing of Nebbiolo. The Langhe Rosso is a 100% Nebbiolo drawn from younger vines in the Pira (Barolo) and Pajé (Barbaresco) crus.
Tasting Notes
Garnet with a bricking rim; a classic, savoury Nebbiolo with sour cherry, rose, tar, tobacco and dried herbs, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity.
Pairing Recommendation
A natural match for braised beef, mushroom risotto, truffle dishes and aged cheeses.
