Profile & Story

This is the Elena Vermouth di Torino Superiore Rosso from Vietti, the renowned Barolo house in Castiglione Falletto, Piedmont. It is built on a base of Vietti's own Piemontese wines (Nebbiolo/Barolo and Arneis) infused with local aromatic botanicals, citrus and warming spices — a 'Superiore' vermouth made with at least 50% Piemonte wine and all-natural ingredients.

Tasting Notes

Deep amber-red; aromatic and layered, with dried herbs, orange peel and sweet spice over dark red fruit, a silky palate and a pleasantly bitter finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Delicious on the rocks with a twist, lengthened with sparkling water, or in a Negroni or Manhattan.
