Celeste Crianza is the flagship wine of Pago del Cielo, Familia Torres' high-altitude (895m) estate near Fompedraza in Ribera del Duero. Made from 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), it is aged 12 months in French and American oak barrels followed by further bottle aging -- one of the appellation's best-selling wines outside Spain, sold in some 80 countries.
Tasting Notes
Opulent and full-bodied, with aromas of blueberry jam, dried plum, cocoa, vanilla and pink peppercorn; light, silky and supple on the palate with the freshness and intensity the Celeste name evokes.
